Meet Our Staff

Dr. Frank B. Lewis, D.D.S., F.A.G.D.
Dr. Lewis is a graduate of the  University of Texas at Austin (1972) and the University of Texas Dental School at Houston (1976).  After serving his country as a dentist in the U.S. Army for 2 years, he came to San Antonio and started his private practice.  In 1981, Dr. Lewis joined a group practice in northeast San Antonio, which later became Monarch Dental Associates. In 2003, Dr. Lewis moved his practice to its current location at Bitters Road and Blanco Road.  He has been a Fellow in the Academy  of General Dentistry (F.A.G.D).  Since 2004, which is an organization whose mission is to promote continuing education through accredited seminars and courses in all areas of dental education.  Dr. Lewis also holds certifications in Nitrous Oxide Sedation, Cerec Restoration and Invisalign technology.

Dr. Lewis is a member of American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, San Antonio Dental Society and the Academy of Dental Dentistry.  Every year Dr. Lewis volunteers his time at Northwoods Elementary and Clear Spring Elementary doing exams and education on how to care for their teeth.  He and his wife Martha have been married for over 30 years and have 2 children.  Barry, age 24 graduated from Alamo Heights High School.  Jake age 20 graduated from Keystone High School and is currently attending the University of Texas at Austin.
 
Staff
Our office manager is Joetta Elsea.  She has been with Dr. Lewis for 2 years and has over 30 years experience working in the dental field.  Her primary duties include scheduling treatment appointments, insurance processing, making financial arrangements, handling accounts receivable and answering phones.  Joetta was raised in Hondo, TX.  She and her husband, Randy have been married for 10 years and have 2 daughters and 2 sons.  She also has 1 granddaughter, Scarlett, whom she adores.
 
Barbara Brady has been a hygienist with Dr. Lewis for 5 years.  She is a graduate of Bee County College (1987) and has over 21 years of experience as a hygienist.  Barbara and her husband, Dave have been married for 6 years and are the proud parents of 3 daughters.  Her 2 older daughters attend college and youngest is in preschool.
 
Lina Mata has been a hygienist with Dr. Lewis for 3 years. She is a graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center (2005).  Lina enjoys working in the yard, cooking, shopping and reading. She also has a pug named Asia and a Chihuahua named Matilda.
 
Christina Lewis is our dental assistant and has been with Dr. Lewis for over 14 years. She has over 27 years experience in the dental assisting field. Her hobbies include hiking, fishing, camping and cooking.
 
Sandra Bolanos is our dental assistant and has been with Dr. Lewis for 3 years. She graduated from San Antonio College of Medical & Dental Assistants in 2003. She is currently attending Northwest Vista College and majoring in Pre Dental Studies. She enjoys spending time with family, friends, her dog, Deno and cat Kleedus.
 
Tiffany Sauceda is our hygiene assistant and has been with the practice for 2 years. She graduated from dental assisting school in (2006). she lived in Oklahoma for 15 years and has recently moved back to San Antonio. Tiffany enjoys spending time with her nephews Noah and Benji. She also enjoys playing with her miniature schnauzer,Elway.
