Services

COSMETIC DENTISTRY
We can help give you the smile you've always wanted.  We offer veneers, crowns and different bleaching techniques that can help enhance or totally transform your smile.

INVISALIGN
Invisalign is an easy way to straighten your teeth without bands, metal brackets or wires.  By using a series of clear, removable aligners, Invisalign gradually will move the teeth into position. The aligners are changed out every two weeks and can be removed to eat, brush and floss.

CEREC ONE APPOINTMENT CROWNS
This method allows us to create precisely designed, color matched, durable ceramic restorations such as crowns and onlays in just one visit.  The traditional method of making crowns usually involves 2 or more appointments.  With Cerec, you will save time and multiple trips to the dentist. After all you do have other important things to do with your time.

SEDATION
For your comfort we offer various sedation methods. Nitrous Oxide "laughing gas" and oral sedation medication can be given prior to or during the treatment process.   Also enjoy a cozy blanket or plush neck pillow while having your treatment done.

NIGHTGUARDS
Stressed? All of our bodies respond to stress in different ways.  One way is through grinding or clenching  of the teeth.  This can often cause the breakdown of enamel and TMJ problems.  To protect your teeth we offer nightguards.  This appliance provides a cushion between your upper and lower teeth so instead of grinding into opposing teeth the force is absorbed by the nightguard.  Impressions of the upper and lower teeth are needed to make this custom fitted appliance.  After this is done the impressions are sent to the dental lab where the appliance is fabricated.  It is ready in about 2 weeks and can provide you with a lifetime of protection.

TEETH WHITENING
We offer the Zoom Chairside Whitening System and take home bleaching trays.  Zoom is a 2 hour appointment that begins with a short preparation to cover your lips and gums, leaving only your teeth exposed.  The Zoom clinician then applies the Zoom whitening gel which was designed to be used with a specially designed light.  The light and gel work together to gently penetrate the teeth breaking up stains and discoloration.  Bleaching trays can be used alone or in conjunction with the Zoom treatment.  Plastic upper and lower trays are custom made to fit your teeth.  The bleach gel is dispensed into the trays and is worn for an hour a day for a week.

PERIODONTAL THERAPY
Periodontal treatment methods depend upon the type and severity of the disease.  If the disease is caught very early (gingivitis) and no damage has been done, you may simply be given instructions on improving your daily oral hygiene.  The first non-surgical step usually involves a special cleaning, called scaling and root planing to remove plaque and tartar deposits on the tooth and root surfaces.  This procedure helps gum tissue to heal and pockets to shrink. This is sometimes referred to as "periodontal" or "deep cleaning" and may take more than one visit.  The dentist also may recommend medications to help control the infection and pain or aid in healing.  These medications could include a mouth rinse or an antibiotic that the doctor or dental hygienist places directly in the periodontal pocker after scaling and root planing. INTRAORAL CAMERA/DIGITAL XRAYS
The use of an intraoral camera can capture photos of existing conditions and restorations in the mouth and provide us with baseline information for future treatment. By viewing the photos the patient and doctor can prioritize needed treatment and form a treatment plan tailored to the patient's needs.

ORAL CANCER SCREENING
Did you know approximately 30,000 new cases of oral cancer are diagnosed each year in the United States? It is important to receive an oral cancer screening by your dentist annually. An oral cancer screening is performed by the doctor on every new and existing patient. The head and neck are are examined thoroughly with gentle palpitations. Inside the mouth the doctor will look for any abnormal lesions, discolorations or growths that may be cause for concern.
